I filed on June 18th (RD) and I am still waiting...current one Expires in 3 weeks. Any suggestion what I should do.

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but interesting issues raised by desi3933 and would like to get his comments on this from him:
I am in a similar situation...I have been on H1B since Oct’07 and prior to that I was on a valid F1 status. Not been on a client project since mid-Sep'08, have not been paid from past 5 months.
Why did you wait so long for your unpaid back wages? Benching is considered to be an employer’s failure to pay the nonimmigrant worker in H-1B status his/her full rate of pay based upon the employer’s lack of work, periods between contracts, or after a downturn in business. In all these situations, the USCIS requires the employer to pay the H-1B worker his/her full rate of pay as stated on the H-1B visa petition.
My employer is not helping with either COS to H4 or port H1B to another employer, by not providing REAL paystubs for the past 5 months. I have been actively working with my employer to find new work and I have all evidence of this in emails. I cannot report to work, as the office is too small for more than two people to comfortably work under normal working conditions.
You are entitled for back wages until terminated. Such termination should be well documented and properly served.
When I ask employer for back wages, I get threatened that they will issue a backdated termination letter to Sept 2008 (employee not terminated yet), though I have been actively working with them to find new work? I am also being asked to submit a fake personal leave letter for the past 5 months.
How do I know if my H1B has been revoked? I know there are many issues and questions raised here...

I would strongly suggest not to use fake letter for unpaid leave. Please consult your attorney and consider sending them proper letter demanding back wages. Please note that an employer is in violation of the LCA requirement at Sec. 1182(n)(1)(A) for placing an H-1B nonimmigrant in unpaid nonproductive status due to a decision by the employer based upon factors such as lack of work. The prohibition against unpaid nonproductive status does not apply to nonproductive time due to non-work related to factors such as a voluntary request by the nonimmigrant for an absence (e.g., unpaid home leave on holiday), or circumstances rendering the nonimmigrant unable to work (Example - Medical incapacity, caring for sick relative, vacations).
In the event of termination, your employer MUST provide you letter of termination in writing AND should notify USCIS to such termination. Till that time, employer is liable for full wages.

I had taken infopass and officer sent an email to TSC enquiring about current status. Today, I got snail mail reply..
"Due to the high volume of expedite requests for this case type, we are strictly enforcing the criteria that has been set for these expedite requests."

I have copy of that letter but it mentions the title and salary no job desc.
Possibly, that's what you need. If you can get a similar letter (same title with same, or a bit more, salary) from your new employer it should work.
Did you ever get (or ask for) your I-140 filing? It should have a copy of the LC application, and job description.

Dear all,
I was wondering if any one on this forum has filed his/her AOS with NSC and their case will be transferred to TSC (due to I140 approved from TSC) and has got the filing receipts yet?
My application (based on lawyer's email) should have reached NSC on July 2nd, but haven't got the checks cashed yet or got the receipts yet...
I was wondering that my case will most likely be transferred to TSC from NSC. I am thinking lot of guys are in same situation as me, but have you guys received any receipt yet?

Wait till next week-end. My 140 mailed to NSC on 11th April (why?? not sure) and received RN from texas. ND was dated 19th April. RD was 13th April.
Now # of applications are more so it can take more time but your RD will be maintained.

This event cannot run based on MLM or false promises.
It can be successful only if every member understands their contribution and participation is key for this event and they are the one who can solve their immigration issue by taking this event seriously.
What is the difference between the two? IMO, two words "Effective Marketing". Come on, where are the MBA's among us who can offer strategy? Actually I feel we are so backward that we don't even need MBA's to improve from here, just any simple ideas

I really like this idea.... Actually if north Indians didn't rule Central government in India for such a long time (before PV Narasimha Rao), south Indians would be better off in India itself !!! Then north Indians would be citizens of USA in no time, and South Indians (in India) would have been happy about it!!!

Finished e-mailing to all the senators. Its easy than AILA website if you have google toolbar to fill in the addresses.
1.Use the Autofill feature in the google toolbar.
2.Put the mailing address in the autofill.
3.Then Select the Senator's contact page.
4.Press the autofill option on google toolbar.All the fields are populated
5.Cut and paste the letter in the message body.

If country-cap is meant to promote diversity, it should be based on percentage of each ethnic group in US population. Indians and Chinese are a minority in this country.

If you have any further questions, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.
Please remember: By law, every person who is not a U.S. citizen and who is over the age of 14 must also notify the Department of Homeland Security within 10 days from when they move (persons in "A" or "G" nonimmigrant status are exempt from this requirement). If you have moved, please complete a Form AR-11 and mail it to the address shown on that form. If you do not have this form, you can download it from our website or you can call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283 and we can order one for you.
