thanks indigokiwi. The deadline is end of March, but we would like a large amount of this raised much earlier, since it involves making reservations, booking appointments, for Eg. with the lobbyist.
We need to raise about $1000 everyday to meet the goal.

Card Production Ordered Date: 09/02/2008.
There was no LUDs all the way and they did not ask me to do FPs. FPs were done in 10/2007 for I485.

my EAD is still pending. but no lud on EAD cases. just a soft LUD on I-140 on 7/13. Very wired !!

People spending time on this thread, why not spend 5 minutes to print and sign a letter, then spend 82c and mail one copy each to USCIS and IV.
Do you not like the idea of 3 year long EAD's and more job portability which will come from a revised definition of "same or similar" job description??

I opened a SR for non receipt of my FP notice, on 30Oct2007. I got a reply from USCIS exactly after 45 days ( very prompt) notifying me that " my FP has not yet expired or my FP is not yet cleared". Certainly this looks like a canned reply from USCIS which was sent even without looking at my file. I guess they should be more transparent in their process than just sending plain lies.

FYI I received my EAD card this morning!!! I know yours are all coming soon! It never updated online it just said that the approval notice was sent- it never said card ordered.

Applied on July 7th, 2008 (TSC)
Approved August 26th, 2008
Don't know if its for two years or one year.
I am current with 2004 EB-2 I priority date.

Seems like You are not waiting for GC for more than 8 years. You have not been separated from ur family for more than 3 years. Thats why you don't agree with EB3-I fight. Look at the PD for last 3 years. EB3-I is stuck in 2001 since early 2005. It has not moved in last 3 years and you are saying People should keep quiet about it. How selfish of you.

Just like you are within your rights to look after yourself, so is everybody else - welcome to capitalism. I have always maintained that going down the road of EB3 versus EB2 is detrimental to this group. Your post only adds to this.
In anycase I dont know how splitting visas equally between EB2I and EB3I can pass the smell test even if DOS were to implement it - there is a categorization that is already established AFTER the initial handout is made on an equal basis. The split completely negates it - at least to the extent any EB2ROW spill over is directed to EB3 when EB2 I and C are already retrogressed.
Lets not swear by capitalism but selectively resort to socialism.

As I have said before, the problem arises when some companies file petitions when there isn't an immediate job offer. They often take money from the H-1B worker to file the petition and not pay them when they are on bench - making them vulnerable to USCIS audits. I140 or H1-B is another story, but, I485 is solely your application. You are entitled to talk to the attorney who sent your application (and put his/her name as a contact to USCIS) BY LAW. For I485 he/she is representing you, thus have to reply to your inquiries. It might even be ILLEGAL for the attorney to give info about your I485 to your employer.
How you can make your employer convinced about this? You might show evidence. Your initial aggrement with the attorney will help, too.
Too much of patience needed for this. My lawyer sent the papers on july 2nd. Still no word about the Receipt notice. I can see an LUD on July 28th on my approved I140. my 140 starts with SRC.... Anyone similar to my case.
Sub. Labor - Priority date aug 5th 2004.
